Chess Tutorial with Monika #664

I was thinking about the chess game option. Personally I have never played chess before so I thought it would be cool if Monika explained the basic rules to the player. Afterwards she could initiate a practice game applying the rules to the game. And by practice game mean that Monika would make a move and she would instruct us on what our best move would be. Or it could be there is a help button during the practice game if you want to try your own moves.

I feel this would be appropriate and actually a great way to add some cute chess dialogue.

I agree but can this really be implemented with Stockfish? I know it can calculate the best next move for both sides but having Monika actually explain it to player seems pretty hard both code and scriptwise. At least from my standpoint.

Stockfish is the chess AI engine. It's being used in conjunction with a python chess library. We can add simple scripted chess movements without using stockfish.

That's certainly a great thing to add since I've played chess with her like 20 times and never won.
