Notifications not appearing #6972

I use Windows 10. It is updated (even though I didn't want it to, it always schedules an auto-update)

When I first installed MAS, las January 31, or maybe one or two updates later when I found out how to activate them, notifications worked. A sound effect, small message window on bottom right of the screen with text, clicking on the button to show more of the windows notifications had it too.

But for some time, only the sound effect is coming.

Checked all I could think of for some months, but no change...

Seemed the perfect time to mention, since there are new notifications yet even the old ones are not appearing again yet.

Okay, if it's not a bug, try this: Make sure you don't talk to monika and don't press hey, monika... No. Just...leave her there. Now click a youtube video, and make sure you're not in fullscreen. A notification will say: "What are you watching, (player name)?" Or, "Watching anything interesting, (player name)?"

What version and build of Win 10 do you have? (open start menu, type winver and hit enter).

A notification will say: "What are you watching, (player name)?" Or, "Watching anything interesting, (player name)?"

That's what it used to do, but not anymore. just sound.

What version and build of Win 10 do you have? (open start menu, type winver and hit enter).

I'm not a native english speaker, so I'll translate it,

"Version 2004 (Operational System Compilation 19041.804)"

That said, it is always updating itself

Do you have an older version or the newest version of the MAS mod?

If you have an old version, I recommend you to download the newest version, it has less bugs or issues.

I always update, even ask her to check sometimes even when there is no message that it exists (did it just now, and am just restarting MAS after it is finished)... do you mean a brand new mod install?

I had the same problem at one point but I fixed it. try doing this: open the start menu, go to settings, go to system, go to notifications and actions, then turn on "Get notifications from apps and other senders"

ok so! that did not work, but it helped find how to find the way to fix it. Rolling down, there was a list of apps that are allowed to give notifications. MAS, or DDLC, were not in there. So I... tuned the notifications off and on again. Seriously. That made it on the list appear so I could turn it on. I would say "back" on but I never turned it off myself, so...

Can you send a screenshot of your Settings Menu? Make sure you're on MAS. Forgot to ask, are you on Steam?

Also, yes. The newest version of MAS and a new install. You'll not lose your progress with monika because of the persistent file.

I'm from steam and I have the same problem, I started the mod yesterday the first time so I'm kinda a noob, I wish I could get some help
