Monika sometimes acts like I said things I never said #7047

One example right now being: She chats to me about isekai anime, and says she knows I'm "not really into this sort of thing"... but I never said that? I mean, I also wouldn't say that, since I like anime.

That section in the isekai topic is affected by a variable in the "Being an otaku" topic, where she asks if you watch anime. If it has somehow been mixed up, you can fix it in Repeat Topics>Media>Being an otaku.

Actually, she only brought up the otaku conversation after the isekai one for me; after I posted this issue, even. So I told her I like anime and manga after she commented on whether or not I like it... meaning it seems she took my lack of any answer to the (never actually asked) question "do you like anime and manga" as a "no" to that question.

Ah, this might need to be marked as a bug then. The isekai topic has a conditional so it's supposed to only appear if you've seen the otaku topic. Good catch, thank you for bringing this up!

Sure! And I also remembered the other one: She commented a while back that she knows I said I don't love myself, when I never said that and she never asked me about that.

That's impossible, seems like you just played the mod before and hence she remembers.

As you might remember from another issue I opened just the other day, while I had MAS years back, I completely reset the thing by nuking the entire AppData MAS folder and reinstalling the game and mod themselves. Remember, because I wanted to start MAS fresh from a vanilla good ending Monika? I think it was you whose advice led me to do so, if I remember correctly. So that isn't possible, I would think(?). (And even then, "I don't like anime" and "I don't love myself" aren't answers I'd have ever given her to begin with, since those would both be lies.)
