This error can only happen when you're reading a poem, it's impossible to get in the appearance topic. Are you using any submods?

Some of those submods are known to have problems, also you have extra files in game/. So I'd start with reinstalling DDLC + MAS, then adding your submods one by one. Make sure to not place any extra files in game/.

So, I reinstalled the files, opened the game and tried telling her my apperance again, before putting the submods back in, but it didn't work.

You still have those extra files in game/, did you reinstall the game and the mod? Where did you download it from?

yes, I reinstalled the game from the official ddlc website, and the mod I installed by doki doki translate
