Monika doesnt recognize hot chocolate gift #9674

So whenever I try giving Monika hot chocolate she doesnt recognize that there is a gift file, but if I change the file name to something else like fudge, it works straightaway

Do it again. After you created the file, please take a screenshot of the character folder, and upload It here.

Using any translation? Or the 100% official MAS? Notice "100%", you must be sure about this.

Im pretty sure its the 100% official, I use the one downloaded from here https://www.monikaafterstory.com/

Have you ever changed your clock while MAS was open?

Have you tried creating the gift while the game was closed and then opening the game? Your description of changing it to fudge and immediately being recognized almost sounds like it could just be taking the game a minute to check for the gift file, and only checks it after you've made the change. So try giving that a shot, and report back?
