When you are navigating through characters in the editor, certain traits like anime and robotic limbs present on the selected character are carried over to be displayed on the character you cycle to when you switch preview. It randomizes the appearance of these traits despite the traits not existing in the first place. The only way to bypass this issue is closing and reopening the window. It is very irritating.
