MonsterIRC does not seem to treat the minecraft encoding correctly.
We are expiriencing many problems with this issue, because the German language contains many words with the "special" charactars ä, ö, ü and ß.
This letters are translated to ? form Minecraft to IRC.
The other way round äöü and ß are translated into two boxed ?? ingame.
IRC Network is Quakenet, we are chatting with UTF-8 (standard).
Minecraft uses a mixture of a modified (shortend) Codepage 437 and some Unicode (probaly UTF-8?) for ingame chats.
We do not use towny etc; just the built-in chatsystem.
Expected behaviour:
MonsterIRC translates these characters in the right encoding.
I do not have enough Java skills to do this translation on my own.
