Hello all! My name is Jude and I'm finishing a Graphic Design certificate this semester. I came to Missoula for UM's English masters program after finishing Peace Corps service in Tonga. I later switched career paths from teaching to graphic design and now deeply appreciate how much I'm learning in this program. I'm more terrified of this course than any I've ever taken because I do not have a background in this at all. Bear with me, friends. I look forward to learning with you.

Hello! My name is Kelsie Burns and I am from Babb, Montana. I was interested in this course because I aspire to be a business owner. I like to take on all aspects of owning a business (marketing, design, finance, etc) when it comes to school and work so that I can be fully self-sufficient when my dream business becomes a reality. Web design is a huge part of a business, and I hope to successfully acquire the skills to do it on my own.

Hi! I'm Shaye. I am attending my last semester at UM as a political science major, and I am looking forward to graduating in May. I am from an island in Southeast Alaska called Ketchikan. I have been living in Missoula for almost 4 years, and have most enjoyed spending time on the rivers and in the mountains. Outside of school, I like to spend my time outdoors either fly fishing, hiking, hunting, or taking photos. I have never taken a digital media class, and I hope to learn some useful skills that I can use in the future.

Hi Shaye! My family actually originates from Ketchikan, I am an enrolled member of Tlingit & Haida. I was born and raised in Montana, so I have never actually been there, but it is on my bucket list :). Hope you have a great semester!

I am currently working on a novel about werewolves running a bakery in Montana. Not sure how it will go, but I'm excited to see where it takes me! I am taking this course to help my husband design and run a website for his art studio.

Hi, I'm Robbie. I'm A PTRM major from Henniker, New Hampshire and I took this course because creating websites seems like a lucrative skill to have and I would like to create them for my own businesses so that I can outsource as little as possible. I used to be an avid gamer and learned how to code using scratch, so I'm excited to learn the real stuff.

New Hampshire to Missoula is quite the distance! Great to see someone else getting into computer science via games!

Hello, I am Kenzie. I am a Junior Media Arts Major geared more towards Game Design and Graphic Design. I am far from the best at coding, so I can't wait for the pain to follow once more hahaha....haha...ha..... I live in Missoula and go to UM, and on a regular day, it's just myself and my bunny Ralphie watching the world turn by.

I love that name for a bunny! So cute! A furry friend is always so welcome. That is a very interesting major, definitely not something that I believe I could do! using your major. What do you plan to do?

I am excited to see what this class has to offer and try something that I might not have given a shot if it wasn't for this class.
