tinyRNA provides an all-in-one solution for precision analysis of sRNA-seq data. At the core of tinyRNA is a highly flexible counting utility, tiny-count, that allows for hierarchical assignment of reads to features based on positional information, extent of feature overlap, 5’ nucleotide, length, and strandedness.

Bowtie's trim5 and trim3 options have been removed from the Run Config
tiny-count's counter_all_features option has been removed from the Run Config (deprecated)
DGE scatter plots will now include features that have a count of zero in one of the compared conditions. Points for these features will be plotted at the very edge of the plot space as a half circle because zero can't be represented on the log scale, and approximations of zero would shrink the plot space
