The workspace setting is probably the most important feature in the entire settings plugin list.

it needs to be on its own, in a dedicated 'plugin' called Workspace Location or Workspace Folder or something.

It needs to have a button like "Show in Finder" (like we have in the right click menu of the workspace or "Open Folder" so that it launches Finder or Windows Explorer to the correct location.

I want to discuss this before we make any changes. I think the functionality that depends on the above Workspace field has moved to other logic:

Organization: We now have support for multiple workspaces with #416. This logic does not depend on having a single parent directory for all of the projects.
New Project default location (#846). For this, the user is expected to choose a different parent directory the first time they create a project, and then this will be the default path for future projects they create, until they choose a different path. I'm not sure separately configuring a default path for this saves us any steps.

Another place where the default workspace could be used is for the Parent Directory in the Git Clone and SVN Checkout windows. Currently this is blank each time that Moonshine restarts.

This should also apply to the Clone repository interface.

As mentioned in #845, we don't really use the "Moonshine IDE Workspace" currently. Instead, we track the directories that have been used when creating new projects. I think it would be better same logic for the default directory for new projects, but we can discuss this more on Wednesday.
