As soon as he's removed after the intro text, the floor display glitches out, and his portrait hangs out on the edge of the screen.

This used to work in the old version (1.37 and earlier) - probably just missing something that used to be done here to remove the boy.

Well, I checked old versions to see where exactly this was broken, and it looks like it.. never worked? It was added in version 0.91, January 2018 - generating an ancient cave with that version and only girl/sprite results in the same glitch.

How peculiar.

Should still be fixed. Somehow Open World manages to work fine without the boy.
