Please describe your suggested enhancement:

Charges so described are shown against the sun in splendor (which also needs to 
be added as a charge)

Can you provide an example blazon?

Done, although it just surrounds the given charge(s) with the suns rays as I 
think this looks better than obscuring the face of the sun. Was in 2.3c.
