We need to choose 3 tasks to focus on right now. Not a huge TODO list, just three tasks to stay oriented.

**1. Get a good Danshui design.

2. Get a basic website up.
3. Get a crowdfunder up.**

1. Designs: Progressing. Focusing on teal or burgundy mono palettes for now.
2. Website. Will deploy on surge.
3. Patreon. We need more designs to do a good one. We only get one chance so don't want to screw it up. Will do some Taoist designs too.

Danshui can go to plates. The others are jpeg only.

Here is one template design I built recently. It's a general template, but you can see how easily it can be repurposed for TShirts. It sucks on mobile. Just try it on desktop.

Today's tasks:

1. Get the Patreon ready (write together in 2 languages on a google doc)
2. Get 3-4 designs done (the basic design is ok, we just need to change the palettes)

You will have to get used to switching between threads. I know it can be disorienting. But we have to stay organized. Otherwise everything will be a mess. If you get lost, always come back the the all caps TODO thread.

That is our central thread.

We are 10-15 hours design work away from having a good T-Shirt.

1. FOR THE PRINT SHOP.....

Hi,

Can you give us a price on 4,5,6, and 7 colours?

Also, can you deliver shirts individually wrapped? Thanks.

2. Change OVERCOME to Josefin Sans, Extra Bold, ALL caps.

3. Make a list of good ttf Chinese and English fonts for the 克服 Kèfú.

4. IF TIME: Make an emerald green version of the original design with Remember The Mission (text). Once we get a decent template, we can re-purpose it for other designs quickly. For the second run, we can do an emerald green run of 50.

Mission:

Forget the Patreon for now. Focus all our energy on a run of 50 overcome shirts.

Why? We need to print at other shops to see how the pros do it. We will still split the money 50/50 cos @taiwanluthiers your input on the design process is valuable. Later, we can screen print...

July 3rd TODO II.

1. That Chinese text needs to be #222, near black. Purple is too tacky. We will pay for more colours.

2. @taiwanluthiers what is the name of that font?

3. You could put a white christian cross in the centre of the red block..... Then we are echoing the Trinity.

The design is improving, good work.

I'm not sure the font name. I have posted a picture of the font name on top of the text in question. But it would also be helpful to link the google doc in this thread, as well as making it public (so others can view it).

In the email I asked how much it costs to print front and back, and second email is how much is additional colors (like 7).

July 5th Meeting. Notes

1) We're waiting on a response from the print shop re: 5,6,7,8 color shirts. 2) Started an issue for colors and palette research. 3) Colors must have meaning, but shades are important. 4) We can do alt palettes for different runs of the same design. 5) We can look for a calligrapher 6) Kefu could look like a hurdler, or smashing a wall. 7) Brighter colors could work.
