[FR] single dot as separator/toggle button. #146

I would love to see an option to have a single dot that can act as both separator and toggle. Like that you just have one dot instead of two in a row if your toggle dot is the last icon on your bar. ›

I just want to +1 this!

In fact I still don't understand why the 2nd dot needs to be there except when configuring Dozer in the first place -- for me, the 2nd dot only needs to be shown while the Dozer preferences pane is open, for example.

But in any case yes, if they're next to each other (like they are for most users probably?) it would make much more sense to collapse. And actually, it could even make sense for the collapsed state to be a left-triangle or left chevron icon (to indicate it will expand), that switches/rotates to a right-angle one when expanded (to indicate it will collapse).

In any case, LOVE this app! It's saved my menubar!

I agree with this too.

The reason I use dozer is because sometimes my menu bar gets so big that i cant get to the menu bar apps that are on the far left and are hidden by the system. The two dots adds extra items and further clutters up my menu bar. Dozer is an excellent app but I think this feature would make it so much better.

In another menubar app named Vanilla the developer made it work like this: vanilla-square-gif I think a new functionality could incorporate something like this?
