Crash when attempting OCR from menu

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start in either the Kanji Lookup action or the Dictionary action
2. Press the menu button
3. Select OCR from the menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the camera to turn on and an option to take a picture with the camera. 
 Instead all I see is an error.  The error is "Sorry! The application WWWJDIC 
for Android (process org.nick.wwwjdic) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try 
again. (Force close)".  Please see attached image.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using v0.9 of WWWJDIC on Android 2.1-update1 running on a T-Mobile MyTouch 
Slide.

Unfortunately, it is quite hard to support the camera on different devices and 
be 1.5 compatible at the same time. The current code might be a little brittle. 
Any chance you can provide a stacktrace (logcat)? I don't have a Slide, so I 
can't reproduce this.

I understand how this can be a problem.  Ask for whatever information you need. 
 Here is logcat beginning from when the OcrActivity is started.  If you need 
more, let me know.

Could you try the version I put in downloads. This *should* work, but if it 
doesn't, please send me the logcat again. I also need to make the picture size 
selection a bit more intelligent, but I'll try this after we get it work.

That seems to work well.  I attempted ~10 OCRs with this update and it only 
crashed once.  I was unable to duplicate the crash.

Simply put, I am able to perform OCR.  If I can duplicate the crash I will open 
a new issue.

Good to hear. I will try to make this a little more robust and hopefully more 
compatible with pre-Eclair devices as well sometime this week. It would be 
great if you can test it.

Thanks. I just uploaded test2. It *should* handle most devices/versions 
properly. Only tested on NexusOne so far. I've also removed the dependency on 
the default camera app, but that should (hopefully) be transparent.

No complaints so for, so I'm assuming it works OK. Just pushed it to Market. 
You might want to uninstall to get the 'official' update (version is the same).
