10 months ago @awickham10 : I am using a 15 cm splice of an old spool and use Multispool mode https://support.mosaicmfg.com/Guide/Multi-Spool+Mode+for+Palette+3/162 To do that - you need to have attention that the spool you use habe enough filament on it to avoid palette to change to the little splice you attached to the second input.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...] When switching from multi-input prints to a single print it's annoying to have to move around spools and remove Palette's tube from my extruder.
Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. It would be nice to have an option to setup my printer to default to always print through the Palette and selectively disable it on a per-slice or model basis. This would allow me to always print through the Palette and not have change around my physical setup.
Describe alternatives you've considered I could setup multi-spool mode knowing that I have enough filament on my primary input to not need to go to a secondary but that is also extra setup that needs to be done.
