Feature Request: Change Color by Layer (or by length/weight) #221

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Not necessarily a problem, but it would be nice to be able to have the Palette be able to change colors by layer number or even by length or weight amount of filament extruded.

Describe the solution you'd like Add the ability to "paint" colors by layer instead of triangles/faces.

Describe alternatives you've considered I have tried manually swapping filaments and its not fun and leaves a lot of room for errors.
