Hi Moshe,

This PR address several problems with the README.md, that make it difficult / impossible to install the project.

I also included the steps I used to successfully install the pre-compiled binaries and the (secret?) included books on an up-to-date debian system.

I added another commit for changing the permission of non-executables...
