What version of XBMC are you using? On what operating system?
Frodo 12.2, ATV IOS 5.3

Please describe your requested features and provide as much information as
possible:
The streams from nick jr do not play fluently on my ATV. Now I checked this on
my laptop and exactly the same issue arises (playback with a lot of freezes).

Now as we can't solve the webserver that is providing this, I thought it might
be possible to also cache the complete stream for nick jr before playback, as
it is done now for NL1,2 (uitzendinggemist.nl channels). This would most
likely solve this issue

thnx

The problem is that Nickelodeon use RTMP streams, which I cannot simply
download. Besides that, the Ned 1, 2 and 3 option is just a temporary
workaround and will be remove after XBMC 13 is released.

Okay, thanks for your reply, really appreciated.

Would there be any other way of watching this through XOT/XBMC according to
your knowledge, the kids would really appreciate this?

You could use RTMPDump to fetch them. Just try playing them in XOT and see what
URL it is trying to stream. Pass that Url (plus SWF if needed) to RTMPDump.
