I am curious for you to try a different version of the kernel. I am having similar issues with an rpi4 and I noticed that with different versions of the kernel it behaves differently.

Can you roll back to '4.19.83'

You do this by executing the following command:

    rpi-update d865869

Hi,

have the exact same problem but with the official raspi-cam noir v2. I tried your downgrade but no luck. I can access the control page on port 8080 but with port 8081 no luck. I use a RPi4 as well...

Anyone found a solution?

Schattenruf commented 4 years ago

I reinstalled motion again. It seems to work now...

not worked, after new raspbian install and execution of rbi-update d865869, same exception how in first post here :-(

Thx

Are you running the newest version of the VL805 firmware? rpi-eeprom-update
