Lost connection to mcu 'umb' #4

I started getting this error today on a new build. Google shows that there are a few people with the same issue, but I haven't seen anyone resolve it?

I'd been getting this issue and tried a few things to fix it:

Replace usb cables that connect the pi to both mcu's
Check the umbilical cable for broken wires at the molex connector crimps. I had two wires that had broken. I replaced the whole umbilical cable.

Im guessing it was the broken umbilical cable causing the issue, but replacing the usb cables can't hurt if you have spares laying around.

Haven't been getting the error after doing this.

My issue ended up being the umbilical cable being lose on one end...
