OSM Navigator OWA #24

This project is part of the ongoing Open Web Applications effort led by http://www.mozilla.org to liberate users from the closed, locked apps and app stores. Open Web Applications bring the power and the freedom of the web to desktops, tablets, cellphones.

A navigator application with OpenStreetMaps, using geolocation (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Using_geolocation) and accelerometer (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Detecting_device_orientation).

I would like to work on this app. May I know what are its pre-requisites, if any?

Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to mentor a project at the moment. You should be able to find a mentor on IRC, channel #openwebapps. Or you can contact @marco-c who filed that project in the first place.

@Yoric , we are unable to find a mentor for this app. Nobody is replying on irc.

@Yoric We (I and @gmridul ) got a mentor for this project. @sebasmagri has agreed to mentor us. We are starting the work now. Here is the link to the git repository that we will be using: https://github.com/gmridul/navigator .

Some apps related to OSM were done during Paris hackathon, maybe @Yoric can get contacts ?

No, as long as you feel confident mentoring the project, go ahead.
