What will happen in your session?

I would be beginning the session by giving an introduction on data visualization and its technologies available.Following the introduction and explanation on ggplot2 and qplot. Information visualization in search engine will be discussed for linking the data that is being processed between an user and the computer system.Participants would be taught to do simple and intermediate tasks with ggplot and qplot packages of R. Introduction on data visualization : 5mins ggplot and qplot explanation: 15 mins Information Visualization: 10 mins Hands-on : 20 mins Queries and feedback : 10 mins

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The goal of the session is to provide a clear view on data visualization for the participants and to make them understand the relation between an user and the browser through information visualization by which at the end would be able to do the data visualization tasks given.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

The description looks like a technical activity, it is not possible to fully understand if it is an inclusive, participatory, fun and engaging activity. Feel free to provide a less technical description, and highlight the awesome stuffs that will be made in the session. Let us know more, right?

Hello @barrosgeraldo , Thank You for your response first. I have answered your queries below.

The session has an intermediate activity where all genres of participants can take part. It is not mandatory to have any acquired specific skills to get engaged in this session. Basic knowledge on programming languages would be helpful but not compulsory.

The session will introduce the data visualization concept which is a representation of data with the help of the visual factors like maps, graphs etc. It will be an interactive and static session to the participants. They can create visual revelation within minutes and can convert the tables into pictures. Sampling the real time examples will be easy for the attendees to grab the information visualization functions on search engines. I will be using video presentation and props to explain. Participants can use the stationery props to design offline visualization charts.

I ensure that the participants will be engaged and find the session time good and useful. Please let me know If you want to know anything more :)
