Participants will exchange ideas on:

  1. What defines a tech community (membership, tools of trade, events) in emerging economies.
  2. How to create a successful tech ecosystem in emerging economies.
  3. Metrics used to measure impact in tech communities in their locales
  4. Success stories in running tech communities in emerging economies

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

  1. A collection of ideas on some of the metrics used in participants’ local tech communities to measure impact (based on goal)
  2. Build a global community of leaders and activists to push the agenda of successfully running nascent tech communities in emerging economies

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

Paper, pens (marker), post-in notes and manila papers will do for the session.
