  2. Bits of Paper [10 Min]- In this activity, there will be 24 bits of paper having 'myths and facts' written on them about mental health.
  3. Know Yourself [10 Min]- Participants will be provided with pen, paper and they need a mobile stopwatch and will be asked few questions. Based on the time taken to answer a particular question, they will be given points.
  4. How Working Open Helps [10 Min]- A small presentation will be given about open source, case studies and experiences from contributors worldwide.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

As the technology is progressing, competition is increasing. People are running in a rat race to perform better and grow each day. Especially if we talk about programmers, big companies, startups and work spaces, the mental health of an employee can directly impact and contribute to the growth of an organisation. People are hesitant to talk about this extremely important topic and some of them who think they are not stressing out because of work, are wrong! This session will be helpful in understanding the mental health of the participants and give them an overview of 'HOW WORKING OPEN HELPS'. Not only this, they will also be learning about different myths, facts and mental health terms with our activities.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

I'm one of the Openness wranglers team. We're still in the process of reviewing sessions, and we were wondering - if your session is eventually accepted, would you be willing/able to deliver in a shorter slot (e.g. 60 or 90 minute) rather than all weekend?

Background reason for asking: Lots of sessions have asked for all weekend slots, but our physical space is finite. If some sessions are able to run shorter we may be able to fit more in! 🦄

Response:

Hello!

First of all thanks to all the wranglers, you guys are doing a commendable job.

Yes, we can finish the activity in a 60-90 minutes slot also. Although, we wanted to collect as many possible responses and therefore we wanted a slot for whole weekend. But we think that a slot for 90 minute would also do.

The basic idea behind it is to draw conclusions about mental health and openness from a diverse crowd, plus let them know about how open culture can help them in any way. It will help us to publish relevant blog, statistics and videos after Mozfest, reach more people through social media and draw their attention towards working open.

Plus, We will update our Github ID's asap. Apologies for that.
