What will happen in your session?

The Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics needs your help in our search for pulsars - really dense dead spinning stars. Faced with tens of thousands of pulsar candidates, we need your help to identify interesting patterns in the data to improve our machine learning classifier and tell us which pulsars we should point our telescopes at again!

Pulsar Hunters is an interactive Open Science installation where participants can learn in person about pulsar signals from Jodrell Bank researchers and contribute to classifying real data taken with the LOFAR Telescope. As part of a global citizen science project, you can make a significant contribution to our scientific endeavor and share your feedback directly with the scientists.

Hi, I'm confused as I received an email already stating that our session was accepted into the Decentralization space? @KadeMorton

@rainsworth Sorry for the confusion. Looks like this was an error on our part. We DO want you to be included in the decentralization space. I'll try to sort this out from our end.

The description looks good!

I don't believe we included it in our application, but we will need 3 computer monitors for our session. Is it possible for MozFest/Ravensbourne to supply these?

I will check regarding the monitors but @rainsworth I assume not. I would see if you are able to source yourself and/or see if alternative arrangements can be made. There is also the issue of cords, even if we are able to secure monitors we can't promise the cords will match the ports on the devices you have. Is it possible for three people to bring laptops, perhaps?
