We would give a demo on how to create a moving animation and how to transform the stage into a magical display of moving lights and sounds. Participants will learn how to create a virtual animation and how to wrap around a real-world object.

@sakthianand7 @Tejaswisony @thomaswillz, hi there, It's great that this session aims to show/teach participants how to create a virtual animation and how to wrap around a real-world object. Can you tell us a bit more about how you intend to do that? @AngelJum

sakthianand7 commented 6 years ago

Hey @Btayeg, Thanks for your response

We would be setting up a few 3D objects, participants will then model those objects and apply textures to it using UV map. We’ll teach the participants to create animations using After Effects separately for each surface. The 3D model and animated textures are then imported to Madmapper(Mapping software) to map the projection on to the object.

Hey @sakthianand7, the Web Literacy team has reviewed your session and we think it’s great. We have two questions for you regarding your stipend request. Will you or another facilitator be able to attend the festival in the event that we do not have a stipend available to allocate to you? Also are you or another facilitator able to successfully run this session in the situation where we are only able to provide a stipend to one facilitator?

sakthianand7 commented 6 years ago

Hello @ryanwarsaw Thank You for your appreciation ! It would be okay to receive stipend for one facilitator .

Thank you for taking the time to submit a session to MozFest.

Due to the high level of submissions, we’re unable to accept all proposals and unfortunately, your session was not part of the final group.

You'll receive a follow up email from us in the next few days.
