What will happen in your session?

We would begin our session by introducing the evolution of the internet, Web 3.0. Further, we would show a live demo of how a blockchain works and the drawbacks of existing a web.

Subsequently, we would have an interaction with the participants on how the AI can be utilized to add incentives to blockchain and intensively achieve the goal.we would have an open discussion with the participants why the blockchain and AI should be combined.

Finally, we would initiate the hands-on where the participants would build their own first smart contracts. The participants will be trained to convert the normal web app to Decentralized app.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The main goal of the session is to make the participants aware of the evolving web and how this web can be linked to an artifcial intelligence assistant that understands its user and personalizes everything.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

Projector-1 Stationary

Time needed

60 mins

@sakthianand7 @Tejaswisony and @Nikita-Singh thanks for the submission! If you want (but you don't have to), feel free you see if you want to work our zone theme into your session https://github.com/KadeMorton/Xenshana

Great content!!! @KadeMorton We would definitely work on your zone theme

@sakthianand7 @Tejaswisony and @Nikita-Singh Can you give me a high level of how you see blockchain and AI being implemented together and applied to the internet?

sakthianand7 commented 6 years ago

Thanks, @KadeMorton Good to hear from you.

I think one of the best intersection of both these revolutionary technologies would be the decentralized data marketplace, which prevents common users from depending on huge institutions for datasets to train their algorithms. This would truly be revolutionary in the current context and would enable democratization of data. Also, this makes the data set less susceptible to corruption as data is not stored in a single location.AI works better when it has more data to analyze. So, a secure data sharing means more data, which means more models, more models result in better actions.

@KadeMorton Also, the combination of blockchain and AI is to increase the security of systems by placing key aspects of decision-making in the blockchain rather than individual machine learning systems. The use of smart contracts is to automatically execute tasks when certain preconditions are met on the blockchain in many AI-specific scenarios. So the specific decision logic is stored as a smart contract in a blockchain that can be inspected and verified by all parties. The result is that a blockchain system used in AI becomes a sort of log that records what has happened and can be reviewed after the fact, but this can’t be used to explain something before or while it is happening. Where human operators won’t be able to inspect a decision before it happens unless the decision can be made with enough time for the blockchain to record the activity or otherwise to modify the decision.
