Activity-10m

• I'll be preparing a slip of paper with few pieces of information like name, age, school, position, favorite sports team, hobbies, etc.
• Hand a dollar/pound(for demo purposes) to one participant and above slip of paper to other.
• Participant will read information out loud.
• Ask other participants who got the better deal.
• Repeat the activity with different kinds of information.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The goal is to

• catch participants’ attention by directly comparing money and information.
• make them understand the following
  • what circumstances would have to be different for the information to be worth more than a dollar?
  • how having their personal data might benefit any of the following: friends/family, acquaintances, businesses, institutions, governments, and cyber criminals.
