What will happen in your session?

This would be a fun little session where the attendees would learn about what algorithms are and how we can use simple algorithms to solve a Rubik's cube in 15 minutes or less.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The idea here is to let the participants realize how any complex problem can be solved efficiently by breaking it down into smaller challenges. By applying simple techniques to solve small problems, the participants will understand how we can achieve bigger goals in an incremental way. The participants of this fun little session will walk out not just knowing how to solve a Rubik's cube quickly, but also will have a basic understanding of what algorithms are and how they can help us formulate simple solutions to everyday challenges.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

A few pens and a flipboard would be needed. I have a few rubik's cubes of my own, however, if we can manage to get some more Rubik's cubes for the session, then that would be great.

All weekend, as an installation, exhibit or drop-in session

P.S. The primary language for this session is going to be English. However, since I'm quite fluent in Hindi and Bengali, I can conduct the session in any of the three languages, depending on the participants.

@sayak-sarkar, would you please let us know if you would be able to attend MozFest without a stipend?

Hey @chadsansing in case there is no stipend allocation, it wouldn't be possible for me to attend the festival, since the expenses involved when factoring in the current conversion rates would be quite high for me.
