What will happen in your session?

In the Research Hub we will promote chosen sessions from the official programme on banners designed for this purpose. We will also invite anyone who does work in the field to drop by, sign up with pen and paper, and present their work at a couple of open display tables. In this way, the hub will have its own, dynamic schedule for emerging or spontaneous sessions . We will be continuously feeding these sessions via volunteers to be included in the official schedule as emerging sessions.

We will contact researchers in advance of the festival, inviting them to the hub and pointing them to the possibility of holding a session at our hub tables.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

We hope to encourage discussions, gather insights and new research sources on the issues the Report touches upon, as well as to expand our Report network. That said, the Report will be visible and accessible in the Hub as an umbrella initiative but the Hub itself should be perceived as a place for researchers who work on Internet Health to connect with each other, contributing to our goal of creating a community of thought around the Report.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

A space similar to the 2017 Internet Research Hub. If possible, a screen/projector and a laptop to display data visualizations / etc. Logistics and supplies to be coordinated in detail with the Mozfest team.

All weekend, as an installation, exhibit or drop-in session

Hey @jairuskhan and @kaodro, thanks for the submission. I didn't swing by last year - how much space did you have?

@jontutcher we had 3 tables and 2 couches in the space on the half-floor (the space between the two staircases between the ground floor and 1st floor).
