What will happen in your session?
Core idea of MyData is that individuals should be in control of their own data. The MyData approach strengthens digital human rights while opening opportunities for businesses to develop innovative personal data based services. It provides design guidelines to implement parts of GDPR - like data portability and consent management.
As MyData Global Network is just forming into an international NGO, the session seeks for input on its mission, action plan and the MyData Declaration (https://mydata.org/declaration/).
The session provides feedback, insights, and concrete development on A) basic concepts: MyData principles and Declaration B) the plan on how the MyData organisation will drive these forward
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
The concept of MyData is now in the Finnish Government's agenda. The MyData declaration has been translated to nearly 10 languages worldwide and the white paper has gained good traction worldwide. The MyData Global Network operates now in 20 location in over 15 countries, and will be forming into an international organisation later this year. The goal of the session is to unite people who want to combine data protection, privacy and data reuse.
The session provides feedback and concrete development on A) basic concepts: MyData principles and Declaration B) the plan on how the MyData organisation will drive these forward.
