What will happen in your session?
We’ll play the well-known game Mafia with the participants since playing mafia can develop your negotiation skills with different types of people, leadership qualities, decision-making and ability to read body language.
We’ll explain about the game and its rule to the participants. Also, making them watch a video which will help them to understand the game better, followed by a mock Mafia game. After one mock round, we’ll start with the game with the participants.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
_Playing Mafia helps in developing negotiation skills with different types of people,leadership qualities and ability to read body language. _When participants have their eyes closed,they learn to notice everything by sensing the movements,sounds of fellow participants,etc which helps in sharpening their all other senses (excluding eyes)
Participants will get to learn: How can mafia influence villagers? How to take decision in absence of information? What role does ‘Gut instinct’ play in decisions making under lack of information?Are 'Gut-instincts' always right? What role did the Visual,Vocal,and Verbal channels of communication play in this game? What tactics did mafia members use to hide/deflect attention?Does this also happen in the real world? Why did everyone chose Mr X as Mafia though he wasn’t?
