What will happen in your session?
Political entities and data brokers use personal data to manufacture a narrative during elections.
It’ll start with what types of data can be used, how this data is converted into strategy, how the strategy is executed on the ground. It also addresses on how fake news is spread using insights from personal data that is farmed, closing it by raising the ethical issues surrounding the use of data in politics.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
It gives a brief insights into how digital oligarchies are farming our personal data and controlling us by manufacturing consent for political entities.
