This session is lead by youth, a 19 year old student
Is this something that only 1 participant at a time can control? How might this look as a session for 5, 10, or 25 learners at once?
This session can accommodate 10 person at a time to do hands on with the demo, in case of less number of participants each participant will be given one on one training on how to operate the bot, say in case on more than 10 participants team can be made thus for each bot 3 person can work on the bot. In case of larger audience say 30+ I will give a demo first and tell the details of the bot, and basic programming then the interested audience can try their hands on after my demo one by one. The total working bots will be 2 in number and will be kept over a big table where the audience can gather and watch other participants doing activities or be a part of it
Thank you for that explanation, @hiteshcmonga!
@hiteshcmonga can you confirm how large this rover is?
The approximate length and width of the rover is 30cm*20cm and the height is around 15 cm.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a session to MozFest.
Due to the high level of submissions, we’re unable to accept all proposals and unfortunately, your session was not part of the final group.
You'll receive a follow up email from us in the next few days.

What will happen in your session?
Curiosity rover that was send to mars marked the new phase of human advancement in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. We have created the miniature version of real rover.
This session not only displays the working and functioning of rover but also teaches the methodology to build more sophisticated rovers and other robots which can also be controlled over the internet (IoT),using raspberry pi ,arduino, NodeMCU and other desirable sensors. Even a school kid with no previous knowledge of coding can participate and will be able to implement easily by writing simple drag and drop algorithms. The participants have to program and control the robot on a replica of Mars.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
• Creating a belief that you don’t need to be a experienced developer to create and program such sophisticated robots • Controlling and monitoring the rover using Internet Of Things with easy algorithms for everyone including mostly youth, teachers, lawyer (mostly non-technical people) • Giving a brief intro of coding in various developments boards • Teaching basic methodology so that the participants inculcate the art of self-learning and could further create more sophisticated robots in near future
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
