I’m working with several different groups of people to build a platform to host Research Frameworks so that archaeologists (starting with but hoping to expand), communities and organizations can identify what is important or significant in what they do or hope to do.

If you are not familiar with Research Frameworks this is a nice summary - https://historicengland.org.uk/research/support-and-collaboration/research-frameworks-typologies/research-frameworks/

DRAFT Road Map

Research Frameworks

This is a project to make a platform to host dynamic linked Research Frameworks on line instead of the traditional methods of books and PDFs.

What is a Research Framework? Research Frameworks help us identify what is important or significant and provide research questions and objectives to help co-ordinate and focus our research effort.

There is a nice summary of them here - https://historicengland.org.uk/research/support-and-collaboration/research-frameworks-typologies/research-frameworks/

At the moment they are mainly used by archaeologists but we hope to change that.

Goal of the project

We are working to to build a platform to host Research Frameworks so that archaeologists (starting with but hoping to expand), communities and organizations can identify what is important or significant in what they do or hope to do.

Upcoming Milestones • 1st user testing • 1 revisions • 2nd user testing • 2nd revisions • 3rd user testing • Final revisions • Launch of the platform • Being planning next steps and enhancements

What to get involved?

Comment here with suggestions or email me at drocksmacqueen@gmail.com if you would like to help. We are currently looking for testers.

Future needs. After the first version goes live we will be looking for people to help contribute either ideas or functionalities. Specifically, if you have experience with working with JS or PHP.
