Building a flexible path to active citizenship. Active citizenship is not a process! It's a state of mind, and belief that your actions can change your communities. Civic engagement should be different for different people.
Active citizenship sounds great! like to see more of a concrete definition of what that might mean, beyond a state of mind.
I second the comment by @scottkildall. While the goal sounds great, your vision doesn't give me any idea how you plan to achieve this.
thanks! we'll work on it. the readme session today helped a lot! Essentially we're building a "ladder" for people to climb up and learn "civic hacking" skills along the way to be active citizens and contributors to the civic tech movement. We build the framework, the students build the rungs as they go in the form of challenges they design and complete in their community. The challenges are stored in a repository and remixable across communities of learners
