Intro

Create assets for weekly News Beat (social, email, blog).

Content TBD on Thursday to be published Friday.

note: this week may be an edition to focus and reflect upon current events TBD

For the upcoming news beat, we want it to be #blacklivesmatter themed for this Friday and we mentioned exploring fists instead of thumbs up so I iterated on some designs ideas to visualize them (different emojis, design colours) to hopefully help shorten the turnaround time and understand the direction.

I’ve made the news beat heading blue to match the the rest of the design (I included 2nd white heading options in redpen as well if that is prefered for thumbnails – exported both but waiting for final feedback review tomorrow.
