Prepare Content for Week 2

Inspirations

From @chadsansing & @LauraReynal:

• Is it legit? Crack a local news story or ad or scam a la Kraken the Code - share your findings and evidence on Whatsapp
• Can we experiment with different media? For example, images and videos, and audio would work.
• If we create a card (image) with some tips or content, maybe people can collect them on their phones. We can make black and white jpeg that are light and would allow downloading.

@Uwanja @denomain (and Josiah): for next week's software call (Tuesday, Sept 20), please do these things:

• Have a look at @chadsansing's brainstorming document
• Make some suggestions (if you have them) about existing activities that can be transformed into Whatsapp content
• Either here, or in the same brainstorming document, scratch out an idea for doing some of Kraken the Code over WhatsApp chats. This can include a simple image and some text. It should have a prompt to which participants can respond to be engaged in the activity.

@chadsansing thanks for putting the new draft together. I renamed it to

Whatsapp curriculum - Week 2 - Trust on your phone

So that we can keep track week by week.

Here is some general feedback about the curriculum:

• I love the 2 games, and I think that they can be way more fun than the polls.
• I love giving people a free song for each game => @Uwanja can you please advise on how to make that happen: what do we need and how much will it cost?
• These 2 games are happening on 2 days of the week, right ? What do we do on the other days? Can we add some things from the previous document ? For example, we could just have less intense days for the tip of the week, and days to solve people's problem (we don't add anything new).

Next steps: {insert someone who wants to lead here} ❓ can look at the document and addsome ideas for the Scams and the Legit stories that we need to tell? Ideally they would prompt people to go and search for information online. Ideally these would be a mix of local / international content.

I believe @secretrobotron suggested two activities a week, with a poll and question/tip each day. Is that correct?

@chadsansing yeah, that's correct. When they're completed, the activities you wrote up will be used on Tuesday & Friday as per the schedule. But, we should prepare a question/tip as proactive dialog for each day as well.
