Plan IA #1155

Closed kristinashu closed 6 years ago

kristinashu commented 6 years ago

Based on #1139

Focus on MVP, phased approach starting with top-level pages.

Remember that most visitors will find content via incoming links and google search. Nav doesn't need to be a sitemap to all the things, just the primary things.

@natalieworth See above ^ for IA work. Did you want to meet today to talk about next steps for nav design? cc: @xmatthewx @kristinashu @taisdesouzalessa @sabrinang Feedback on the IA welcome!

Because our IA isn't super straightforwards, we talked about creating wireframes showing just the nav (and maybe grey boxes to indicate in-page links that don't appear in the nav). Putting these in InVision will be a nice way for us to test out the flow.

Met with Jesse to better understand his rationale around the Endpoints doc. He has also answered a lot of our questions in the doc.

We reviewed Becca's prototypes which were super help and all on the right track.

1) Simple Nav

2) More complex nav Option 1

3) More complex nav Option 2

Next step will be to continue to work on these prototypes, adding in more links and pages. We will talk more about it as a group during the sprint.
