Homepage banner UI fixes with new nav

Context: When testing out the current homepage banner on foundation.mozilla.org, [~accountid:5fd11ff99b5eed0076cd9411] uncovered that the banner doesn’t behave as expected with the new nav. It appears to be dropping up instead of dropping down. Example below:

We will be using the homepage banner to support EOY fundraising starting mid-november so this needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Request: Please fix the main navigation or banner code to play well with each other/behave as expected (dropping down) across all breakpoints/pages.

Acceptance Criteria:

• User lands on http://foundation.mozilla.org with homepage banner displayed
• User hovers on main navigation and it drops down as expected.
• User closes homepage banner and hovers on main navigation and it drops down as expected.

Hey Genevieve Baldassano , not a label, but you can turn the story into a bug, so it’s filtered in that way. I can show you how to make the switch yourself, but for the time being, the ticket has been turned into a bug item.
