Reviewing a quote for design, print and installation of banner for the window of MozFest house cafe space. Once quote approved, I'll send design ideas.

@edrushka @marcwalsh @Saallen Mozilla Festival House Example Artwork.pdf Hi - this is the first design for the MF House signage - there will be some with directional arrows/additonal wording etc (which I'll share when done) but just wanted to check you are happy with this as a basic concept?

Yup the concept goes with our other mozfest house assets - please use the horizontal lockup here (keep the vertical lockup for narrow applications when necessary to limit the use)

Wording needs to be finalised, but let me know what you think to the design. I think perhaps the additional icons are not needed? They are mostly for directional/branding purposes apart from the glass sign which is to have a timetable of the evening which I'm aiming to finalise asap!! Lucie

Overall, the colour and lines are consistent with the mozfest house designs but made a comment on the grey grid in the back (comment here) and misalignment in one lockup that stands out.

Also, If the space icons aren't used else where for mozfest house with context they don't really mean anything to participants so it would simplify the design to go without (see redpen comment if they are used as mozfest house consider pairing it with the space name.

I'd like to include their logo and a brief message on any Saturday party signage near the entrance, bar, and/or other highly visible area. Something like: "Sponsored by " Would that work?

@edrushka would you be OK if the weTransfer logo went on the screen the main entrance? It will be harder to go on the window as thats for the Mozfest House entire week? I could add it to another banner further into the space thats the most visible?

Oh good idea! They are only sponsoring the party (and there are no sponsors for House) so we don't want the logo up all week. @jcbarajas we have three static screens, side-by-side, at the venue's entrance (this ticket shows what they'll look like during the week). Would it work if we acknowledged them on these screens, and on a printed poster we can display in the bar and another location?

I am undecided if I need all the signage so might take one out, but if you can approve all designs then I can play around with whats needed? @Saallen we can print the "agenda" closer to the time so don't need to sign off the content just yet, just the design. Acknowledging WeTransfer on these 3 static screens at the entrance plus a printed poster at the bar and another location works great!

By the way, these designs are beautiful.

For the main window vinyl, I think the lockup is going to get a little lost in the window.

Is it possible to change the design so we have the house icon itself in the middle section and then the line of the cog in the surrounding 8 squares?

@Saallen and @edrushka mentioned it would work better if the entire middle section of the window was covered.

Hi - see here @edrushka @sabrinang @marcwalsh - they were concerned it might make it a bit dark, but I think with the windows at the top having nothing should bring in some light. Let me know if this is better?

• no space icons on mozfest house assests
• wetransfer logo on static screens in entry way only
• evening schedule to be updated on wed 25th

Post MozFest House Documentation

The window banners bring a warmth to the space and can be immediately spotted when you enter the coworking space:

I'm quite obsessed with the throw pillows and ottomans in the matching palette!

Some other windows had wayfinding labels and arrows to help people navigate the space downstairs:

There was some other banners throughout the space not on glass:

Was there any notes on installation? FuzzyFox mentioned something about reapplying window stickers and there being air bubbles but I did not know how installation went.

Hello I heard that it was not to hard to install but fiddly. Each window box was an individual installation and needed care to ensure it was added correctly. once applied it stayed in place, and easy to remove
