Description

Artificial intelligence is the topic of the hour, every one is a part of it yet people are not aware how they are involved.

Facebook, Google and various others of your favourite sites & companies are active contributors to it and making big business.

This session will cover the following:

  1. Evolution of man - machine interaction
  2. How are common people a part of it and how does it affect them in their day to day life.
  3. Mathematics and technology which is helping achieve this state of art technology.
  4. Demos and code showcase of digit and face recognition in jupyter notebook.
  5. Helping audience build their first machine learning model solving a real time probelm using open data

    Agenda

Above activities will be executed in the following manner:

  1. Code and mathematical visualization using jupyter notebook.
  2. 10 silde presentation on evolution of AI which will cover efforts of researcher's modelling the human brain
  3. Live demo using a Raspberry pi board connected to the display
  4. Have written a python class which will help common audience build their first machine learning model. 4.1 Load data, train a model and get real time results 4.2 Will have a docker image which I will share and will contain all the dependencies.
  5. Will explain how big AI business is and how it is helping different domains of companies making huge dollars and easing human efforts.

Ex in Customer support, Regression models in internet business etc

Participants

Will be running a program which will be estimating human pose in the crowd for gathering people to attend the stall or room.

Program structure for 3 people:

  1. Will be personally engaging with them.
  2. Tell them stories about what I had been doing in my research place.
  3. The problems in this domain.
  4. How people percieve it and react.
  5. Will personally guide them to make something of their own interest

It will more networking and will showcase more of my research to them and personally will consult with them to solve their real time problem.

For audience of 10 +:

The personnel enagaging factor to cater solving their real time problem of interest may not be possible.

  1. Will run through the presentation which will give a basic idea.
  2. Code through jupyter notebook will help them understand the techniques.
  3. Will make them write a 5 line code which will make their first ever machine learning problem

    Outcome

Outcomes:

  1. More literate AI participants in the web and things around them.
  2. Will help audience define AI and demistify how it works
  3. Good technical knowledge of AI practises
  4. Will encourage participants to post about their experience via blog and twitter

Post event knowledge sharing will be done through,

  1. Will share the github link of my notebooks and code
  2. Will share the docker images which will kick start their developement cycle
  3. Will send them invite to a mailing list in which I continously share relevant and interesting links
  4. Send them links of my presentations and video lectures

Hey @dvigneshwer @Melechuga thanks for tapping us. Looks incredible! I think the level and target audience might be best suited for Science or Cities.
