Description

Session designed for R users to set beginners up with some basic skills in using github and Rstudio to manage projects online.

Agenda

The session will introduce version control and walk users through installing git and Rstudio, setting up a github account, creating repos, linking them to Rstudio projects and using them to manage workflows openly.

Participants

The workshop will work for any number of participants as all material will be online and available for participants to work through individually. I will be available to help and answer participant's questions.

Outcome

The session aims to set up participants with some basic skills and enable them to build on those through practice.
