If this is for the session print materials, please eliminate the text in parentheses as this only pertains to exhibit coordination. Also, please eliminate the phrase "get their hands on and" since the format already indicates it is a hands on experience.

Description
Imagine a performance stage that uses ethernetted cameras, Raspberry Pi computers, and computer vision software to respond to dancer and performer movement programmatically with music.
Workshop participants will use the Stage Genie response composition app to get their hands on and collaboratively soundscape the 'stage' (can be anywhere) . Stage Genie will visually track an on-stage object (simplified for the workshop) and play music, tones, samples etc. for each position in the 3D space above the stage.
Once workshop participants complete their soundscapes, we'll invite all MozFest attendees to improvise dance or musical performances on the stage to experience first-hand the possibilities of response composition as an art form.
Agenda
We will set up a single stage area in an appropriate location. (4 Camera/Computer stations on tripods around 16X16 floor). (actual floor space s/b appx 30X30) (Table with speaker, server, hub/switch, (router if broadcast desired), power, internet, etc),
Workshop attendees will install the Python-based response composition app. Then, they'll use the app to generate soundscape files. The files will be loaded as desired onto the stage computer for demo purposes and for improvised performances.
Workshop participants will need their own computers with a Python dev sys installed. Note: they will not be coding python, merely running a python app.
Participants
A class room near the stage would be nice for the workshop. Otherwise sufficient chairs/tables for whatever number of participants you choose.
Outcome
MozFest Attendees will experience live performances for an emerging participative artform.
Workshop Participants will walk away with a virtual musical instrument corresponding to their soundscape, as well as an app for making more of them.
It would be lovely if MozFest would video the improvised performances, and perhaps even the workshop itself.
