Description

The beginning session will be introduction about my community's idea, to built a Operating System designed for programmer (especially for beginner) called TeaLinux OS, you can get more information detail about it, here : tealinuxos.org Imagine that programmer can just code without thinking about any confuse of development environment. Such as installing tools, compiler, setup configuration, etc. That can be a barrier to learn to code.

Introduction will cover the background why we making it, why it important, what we do for it and how it can help many developer / programmer. Then, i will give a DVD / participant, so they can try it with live boot mode (without install) or try after the event. We will explore each feature of TeaLinux.

The next part is discussion, how this idea can be better, with brainstorming technic using post it. We will discuss each idea and conclude.

Agenda

The session was successful, if 75 % of participant give at least one feedback. 50 % of participants try to use Tea Linux OS (on site or on some day ). 20 % of participant decide to contribute to this project.

Participants

If less than 10 participant, we want to talk more intimate, may we discuss about reason why people choose an OS. And then talk about future of this project.

if more than 15 participant, we divide into several groups and use techniques Spectrogram for discussion

Outcome

The whole idea will be collected and discussed for further development of TeaLinux OS project. If they interest with our project and idea, we open collaboration, because we are Open Source community :D For now this project is only in our country and language, so we want to go to worldwide.

This person has been chosen to attend with the Participation team as a MozFest Contributor. So they no longer require a stipend.
