Description

Install, improve our open source software and be part of our community in making journalism and people's lives more closely intertwined.

Agenda

We'll have a discussion about the role of journalism in people's lives, do a brief walkthrough what we've built so far, show people how to install and run it, and solicit ideas, feedback, discussion for future tools and direction. Also hopefully our tools can have applications in everyone's work, whether journalists or not.

Participants

We can hold one big discussion or a series of group discussions. Though only one person is listed currently as the speaker, we'll have more than on in attendance from our team to help facilitate conversations.

Outcome

We want to expand our community, expand the reach and functionality of our tools, and help include more and varied people into the conversation around the future of journalism and engagement.

@marcwalsh Hi Marc, why did you add the Spanish label to the session?

marcwalsh-zz commented 8 years ago

Hey @losowsky - On your proposal form you said you may be happy delivering your session in Spanish. We're tagging the top 6 languages that were submitted so space wranglers know there's a possibility to support this in their spaces. :)

Ah, got it, thanks Marc. Wanted to make sure that it didn't mean our proposal was to do a talk in spanish!
