Description

Learn to code in a gamified, multi-layered learning environment; CEED Universe is designed to make learning fun and exciting.

Agenda

Attendees will be shown how to play CEED Universe and be given the opportunity to play through the game supported by pi-top staff who will be on hand to explain any difficult concepts.

Participants

Pi-top will be providing 30 pi-top laptops with the latest version of CEED Universe installed so, depending on the workshop space, we will be able to allow participants to work either individually or in pairs, supported by pi-top staff.

Outcome

Participants will learn basic coding concepts through playing the game, beginning with simple drag and drop programming with embedded functions through to more difficult terminology such as Boolean, integer and float.
