Description
Children will use a micro controller called a CodeBug and program it using a block based language. They will use the LED screen to scroll their name and make simple animations which respond to button press inputs.
Agenda
Children will be given some basic instructions and then encouraged to problem solve to complete the more complex tasks.
Participants
I will have 20 Codebugs which children can use individually or in pairs.
Outcome
Children will be inspired to further explore micro controllers at home, there are a number on the market to choose from.
