Interesting session +1, there is a real interest in Vlog within a youth culture, its one of the things we want to explore in the youth Zone with a couple 360 degree camera's and in real time VR outputted on youtube

Hi @EPIKhub Agi is a Gold Arts Award achiever and is well connected with Arts Award Voice. I have suggested that she might like to deliver her session in the Arts and Culture Space and then head out to get involved with sessions across the festival, including vlogging along the way. Would be great to invite her to get involved in something further in the youth zone too. @ArtsAward

The Art of Vlogging (15 mins) suitable for everyone Agi K, an award winning young filmmaker and vlogger www.agik.co.uk will host a talk with demo and Q & A about Art’s role in vlogging futures. Participants will have a Demo on how to use digital media inventively in vlogging. Learning a range of creative techniques. This will be followed by a discussion about: -How artists can use art to evolve vlogging genres? -How artists can use vlogging as a tool for sharing their work and reaching mass audiences?

1,2,3, Vlog, Edit, Upload suitable for ages 12 plus (90 mins) (30 participants) Agi K, young vlogger and filmmaker www.agik.co.uk and Anita Kolaczynska, Arts Award Adviser www.artsawardwales.co.uk will facilitate a practical workshop on vlogging at live events.

Participants will learn how to use reportage and art techniques creatively to make an exciting, compelling vlog. They will watch a ‘how to’ example vlog, discuss and brainstorm in groups (with paper and sharpies) how to shoot engaging footage discussing elements like camera angles, speech, pace, visuals, humour. They will then have a vlogging race to go capture the essence of Mozfest shooting as much relevant footage as they can in 15 minutes. In pairs they will be shooting this footage in the style of 'dialogue vlog’ each pair commenting on different areas/aspects of Mozfest. Return to base to listen to a lightening talk about adding artistry through their editing of their footage. Then prepare to edit by making art to enhance their vlog with paper and sharpies), shoot this and any extra sound effects, titles, stills needed. Then use their editing phone apps to creatively edit their footage to create buzzing 50 second vlogs. Upload to Arts Award Voice. They will then be projected onto a screen to be watched by all. Everyone will be encouraged to tweet, comment and share, whilst watching. Agi K www.agik.co.uk @agikproductions
